The photo of waterlogged flea market Shannie killed me. I mean, I hate that you got soaked Shannie, but that’s roughly what I looked like the first time I was in NY. I feel that pain. I also think that you getting soaked necessitated fixing the window gap, and probably helped identify the problem to boot.

Gratz on the first real day of life there. Routine begins (and is then quickly upset by moving once more) and days start to get usual again, which is both good and bad. Getting your own place is a pretty big deal too.
