Yeah, the bike that I brought with me will more so be used when I go on longer day rides and that sort of thing. We’re still going to be buying commuter bikes for commuting to work and booting around the city.

You should probably be very careful about where you park those bikes, and probably get some cheap old used ones for when you’re going out at night etc. Sadly, bike theft can be a bit of a problem, although it seems to have gotten a lot better in the past years: http://www.iamsterdam.com/press_room/press_releases_0/2008/amsterdam_battles You might want to get the bikes engraved and registered just in case, it’s a free service.

So glad you made it safe!

Hope the bike is all aces. Vargos and the two of you are obviously troopers. Poe is a princess. We knew that. She’ll be fine once she gets over herself for long enough to realize that things like eating and pushing previously eaten food out are key to survival.

I look forward to photos enforcing the idea of baggage THROWERS, rather than that fluffy title that for some odd reason includes the term Handler. Hopefully said photos don’t come at substantial monetary cost to you.

I hope that your first days in the land of laws for chocolate and eating out in awesome little pubs rather than an Arby’s are money.

I’ll leave out the joke of Scotty’s ass in that close of proximity to such a massive clog. It’s just too obvious.
